Emerald Pools and exploring Quail Lake like never before!

The boys and I took off to hike the Emerald Pools in Zion National Park. I brought a different treat for the 3 pools, so I baited them along like any good parent would. Haha. They did great! I'm so happy that Miles is such a happy camper on my back. I love doing these adventures with my boys!

Miles was pooped out!

All the boys feel asleep on the shuttle ride back- even Jaylen standing up.

Believe it or not, this is a few miles down the road! The greenery would have fooled me! This is at the end of Quail Lake. We had a blast rope swinging and exploring this far end of the lake. Such a beautiful surprise find!

Its been awhile, so I had to see if I still could do it. I got it!
Sleepy boys, all worn out.

Duck Creek Camping trip- July 2017

Wow. Looking back at these pictures makes me want to go camping SO BAD. We got out of the heat for a weekend and went up to Duck Creek near Cedar City. It was BEAUTIFUL and such a relief to have it cool down at night! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE our camping time. Totally off grid, connecting together. The kids love all things camping and whenever we get them out on a trail, they talk and tell us all kinds of information. It really is the best times.

Prepping food and trying out what they're going to be eating for high adventure soon!

This little lake (I cant remember the name, dang it!) was gorgeous! We hit it right at sundown.

Love this handsome man!

The next morning we took off to the Ice caves, and I couldn't believe that it was really all ice at the bottom! After being in St George in the heat for months, it was a welcome feeling of cold!

We then went over to hike Cascade Falls, not far away. What a gorgeous hike!

We then went and explored Navajo lake. Small, pretty lake!

I went on a trail run to explore and man, the altitude about killed me, but I was meant to be on trails! Loved it!

The cute little town had an amazing fourth of July parade. The boys got loaded up on candy. What was NOT great was our experience trying to get food from a couple different restaurants. 4 hours later, we finally got dinner- much needed dinner!!

All Jaylen wanted was salad. I love this strange boy sometimes.

A successful, fun fourth of July camping trip! We'll be back for sure!
