Ending April...

We had a beautiful sunset tonight, so I had to grab a couple shots of our sweet boy enjoying the outdoors.

Belly blowing laughter

Jaylen LOVES, LOVES blowing on any skin he sees. He also loves when I blow on Aaron's tummy. He'll go up to Aaron and pull his shirt up and get fussy if I don't blow. Its pretty funny. (He's a little in awe of the camera so he doesn't quite cut loose like normal whenever we bring it out). Jaylen has such a contagious laugh. He definitely lets us know what he wants/or doesn't want now days. Its so fun to see his sweet personality coming out. He is a constant jabber box- his favorite sound is "Yeah" but we have yet to really feel like he knows what he's saying. Should be any day!

Business man

It took about 20 minutes to get this suit on Jaylen (he won't sit still for 1 second and hates being dressed) but once it was on, he sure was a handsome little devil! Thanks to Adam and Crystal for getting our boys these cute matching suits for Alex and Jenn's wedding in May! They'll be so extremely CUTE! (Alex and Jenn and our boys! :))

Jaylen absolutely loves to be outside. The minute we put our shoes on and go near the door, Jaylen is at the door, whining to go out like a puppy. Once we open the door, he runs out and just runs wild down the rocks and up and down the sidewalk. Its really adorable. It was so nice the other day, we had some fun playing in the rocks. Here's a few shots of our apartment as well.

Happy Easter!

We had a really fun easter this year. We colored some eggs, which Jaylen tried to either eat them or bash them on the ground. Unfortunately the weather was rainy on Saturday morning so we didn't do an egg hunt like we hoped, but we spent a fun Saturday together without either of us working. Hooray! We had a great Easter dinner with our friends Erin and Tyler Burch. It was fun to have over such good friends on such a happy occasion!

I barely missed it, but as Aaron was blowing on Jaylen's tummy and arms, Jaylen was trying to blow back on Aaron's cheeks. Such a funny boy.

Wake up call!

Funny story about Jaylen yesterday... For some reason the past couple nights he wakes up at around 3 am and just cries and cries. Well, we tried all our tricks to pacify him, and after a couple hours and being exhausted we pulled him into our bed (which we never do..) and I made him some oatmeal to see if he was still hungry. He ate a couple bites and the rest of the bowl went on my night stand, and eventually Jaylen fell asleep between us. I left early to go to work, and when I got home- Aaron told me that he woke up to Jaylen smacking oatmeal all over his face. Once Aaron came to, there was oatmeal all over Jaylen's face (which Aaron didn't clean off so I could see the evidence..), all over his PJs and of course, the bed. I couldn't help but laugh and be in awe that all this was done while Aaron was asleep....
