We went in at 16 weeks and had a gender check ultrasound. We were happy either way, but Aaron and I were definitely leaning towards wanting a boy. Jaylen was funny whenever we asked him. He'd say, "We need a girl because it's 1 V.S. (he says the letters seperate) 3 in our house!" On our way in to the appointment, the boys were so sweet about it when we asked what they wanted. "I don't really care. Either will be fun." Baby had his legs crossed and the lady pushed on my stomach all over to get him to move and uncross. When he finally did- there was no debating it was a BOY!!
I spied it and looked over to Aaron and asked him if he saw what I saw. His face was priceless when we both knew it was a boy. Relief! So happy about having all boys. Jaylen and Gavin are so cute and fun, we're happy to have one more crazy to add to the mix. Gavin wants to name him MACCCOONNNN (bacon), but we'll be naming him Miles. We're still deciding on a middle name.
Everything looked good in the ultrasound! My placenta is by my cervix, which they'll keep an eye on and hope it moves upward as baby and me grow.

Jaylen and Gavin's track meet
The local high school does a few tracks meets in the spring for kids. It was SO fun! The kids can sign up for anything they want and give it a try. They even let Gavin join in on the fun, so it was interesting to see them try track.
Jaylen's first event he wanted to try was the 100 m hurdles. He ran up to it and ended up running under all of them because he wasn't quite tall enough to jump over. Such a cutie!
Lexi, Brody's sister (Jaylen's buddy) is on the track team. She was so good at getting the kids all organized and ready to go!
The boys favorite was the long jump! Jaylen won first place in the long jump for his grade!
Final track meet of the season- May 5, 2015
A few more of Jaylen's friends were there for the final track meet of the season, which made it a little more fun this round. Jaylen and Gavin were so cute out there!
They had ribbons and medals for the final meet. Jaylen was so excited for his ribbons and 1st place on the long jump.
The boys did the long jump, 100 m, 200 m, & the 400 m.
Jaylen called me in to see his medal display he hung with bandaids. Ha! He's so proud of his medal wall.

Active adventures
I love running in the morning when the balloons are going up nearby!
I've been doing bike rides with Gavin in the early afternoon and it's perfect! He chats to me the first few miles and naps until we get to the park to play. He's such a fun travel buddy!
Biking has been a lot more comfortable for me lately, because it's not that pressure on my bladder like running can be. I took my bike on a ride up Snow Canyon, which about toasted me, but was such a therapeutic ride!
Cute Gavin all passed out after a ride.
I've been doing the master's STEPs swim program at the Summit. I love it. Swimming feels really good, although its doing some funny things to my rotation each week my belly gets bigger!
I saw this, and loved it! So true.
Ironman captured this and I loved it!

April 2015
Jaylen was done having Gavin as a roommate this day.
Where I teach water aerobics at my new job at Red Mountain Resort. So beautiful out there!
Gavin grabbed a blanket and snuggled up all tired looking on the love sac.
Easter was magical this year! I played with the boys in the playroom while Daddy went and hid the eggs, and it took Jaylen a while to notice all the eggs outside, but when he did, "THE EASTER BUNNY TOOK ALL OUR EGGS AND HID THEM OUTSIDE!!" They were thrilled he hopped by and delivered some candy.
We got our garden all ready with the help of our neighbor boys. The boys had shovel digging in the dirt and finding worms and spiders. Perfect boy project. They were loving it!
I took the boys in Snow Canyon for a hike after school. Jaylen loves to climb and explore to almost scary lengths for me. He's so brave and loves to explore!
Jaylen's soccer games were fun. Jaylen just kind of chased all the other kids around, but he had fun!
We drove up to Cedar one night to watch Jared coach Addie's basketball game to a championship win! It was great to watch the two of them in action! They did great and the girls were so excited!
Jaylen and Gavin will wake up and get all cozy in the sun outside. Definitely my children right there!
Jerry Seinfeld came through Vegas last year, but tickets are pretty expensive and we passed on it. This year we knew we had to make it work- we both LOVE Seinfeld and who knows how long he'll keep doing it! It was SOOOOO worth it! He is absolutely hilarious, clean and it was a solid 3 hour show! By the end, I was hoping he'd stop because my stomach was hurting from all the laughing. It was awesome to go with Justin and Stephanie too- it made it a really fun time. Dave and Angie's girls watched the boys.
At the Nike store
Our ward did an adult taco night and played all kinds of games. It was pretty funny! Aaron did the egg crack challenge.
Week 15! Starting to feel that "pop" and stretching with my belly much more. I've had a weird thing for beets and avocados.
Two boys getting all warm after a shower.
Celebrating Elizabeth's birthday!
Aaron went to volunteer for Jaylen's easter egg hunt at school.
Gavin crawled up into my lap and feel asleep on me. I love when that happens. He's so sweet and precious curled up in my arms. I reflected on how grateful I am to be a mom. To have this moment to have my own child safe and protected on my lap. To listen to his sweet snores and play with his cute, limp hands. Gavin is a pure joy. I LOVE his age right now. He talks in such a cute way, and is able to express whatever he wants. He's so snuggly and sweet and so innocent yet mischievous in such a funny way. He wants to be a part of everything his Buppy is doing and loves to dress up in his Luigi costume whenever he can. He's a never ending food pit, and has perfected the art of making his own PB & J sandwich (pretty impressive really!!) and peels oranges like a pro!
Jaylen got home from a friend's house and we were playing around and chatting. Listening to him tell me about his time out and having Gavin all snuggled up made me really excited for our growing family. What I wouldn't do for these cute little boys. I can't imagine being able to love another one, but I felt the same when we were having Gavin and I can't imagine life without him now. He's added so much to our home. I can't wait to meet our Miles Edgley!
