Fun with the Peless family in Monticello, Utah

We got to spend the night with my awesome cousin, Kristen (Kueser) and her family on Wednesday night in Monticello, Utah. We had a yummy meal with them and had fun talking with them and watching our kids play around the house. I'm glad to have such awesome family!

Our drive up was rather interesting. After stopping to get some food at Wendy's (1st mistake), Jaylen started complaining about an "ouchie" tummy. Next thing you know, he's throwing up chunks on Aaron's laptop and all over the back seat. It was nasty (we won't be eating at Wendy's again), and we had to stop on the side of the road, Aaron had to clean up because I was about to hurl after trying to help, and it was COLD. Luckily, he was completely fine after throwing up and was happy the rest of the ride up.

The kidos at breakfast Thursday morning..

Jaylen and his cute 2nd cousin, Micali. Doesn't she have the best smile?!

We had a ton of fun with the Peless and are grateful they let us stay with them in their home!

Fun in Moab, Utah

Here is the beginning pictures of our Edgley Christmas in Moab, Utah. It was awesome!

Grandma reading to Jaylen and Lyndon

Alex wiped out going around a slick spot on the mountain bikes. He had quite the graceful dismount!

Alex showing his skid marks on the bike..

Making crafts with Grandma and Bryan.. They made adorable bracelets and ornaments for our tree..

Jaylen loved this train car at the park we biked to..

SWING!

At the park, Jaylen pooped in his underwear, so I was left cleaning him off and having him go underwearless. Jaylen proudly told all the other kids on the playground that he was not wearing any underwear. It was quite fun listening to the other kid's reactions.

Coming back from our bike ride to the park

Jaylen out using the hose without any pants on and wearing his boots. Love this silly boy!

Arches National Park- Delicate Arch

We did the Delicate Arch hike on Friday after the boys went golfing and Bryan and the girls went for a bike ride to the park. It was so beautiful at Arches!

Here's on the road to the trail head. Gorgeous!

This was our view of Jaylen the whole time. He kept running along and we had to call to slow him down. He's quite the hiker! He did the whole way there and back and got sooooo mad when we held him in dangerous spots.

The group resting about half way..

Love this view (especially the big tall guy in the white sweatshirt! :)

Jen, Crystal and I hiked down into the arch..

Jaylen getting a feeling of what it's like to be his baby brother..

The weather was awesome, Arches was beautiful and it was great to be with family!

Such a fun time with family. We loved being able to spend time with everyone in the Edgley family for Christmas this year!

Arches National Park- Windows

We did some more hiking to the "Windows" at Arches National Park after sacrament meeting on Sunday. It was much colder than the first couple days in Moab, but it was fun to see the snow falling over such a beautiful landscape!

Jaylen found this cave he could use his flashlight in. He loved playing hide and seek with Aaron all around these rocks too..

Love this guy..
