Baker's Dozen Half Marathon & beginning of December

Baker's Dozen Half Marathon! My first race back from having Miles! It was so nice to be running with Stephanie again. She is so awesome to run with. It's therapy! This race was fun because it was more of a fun run. It was 4 loops were every loop you had to eat some type of cookie, donut or cupcake in order to get your medal. It was pretty gross to eat a donut and then continue to run, but we had it in 2 hours on the dot. Such a great morning. I'm so happy to be back to the things I love and glad I put a lot of hard work in while I was pregnant to be able to be back to this point 2 months after having Miles!

Start line

The course was so pretty! The wind picked up at the end, so we were glad to be done and out of the shade!

We did it!

We went to Kelson's baptism. So glad Jaylen has such a good friend! It's amazing what all Kelson has overcome this year after his battle with cancer all last year.

Cute 2 month old Miles.

Cute brothers
Aunt Pooh Bear sent us this blanket that Aunt Sandy tied before she passed away a couple weeks ago. Such a soft, sweet blanket.

We went to Tuacahn again with the Hursts, Nasals, and Harwoods. Such a great reminder again of the true meaning of Christmas. Before hand we searched for Christmas PJs. Who would have thought it'd take us 4 hours?!?! We finally settled on a Star Wars theme. It's going to be pretty fun. I even told the cashier, "May the Force Be with You" on the way out and Aaron cracked up laughing at me. "Did you really just say that?!?"

First part of December 2015

We got a Chipotles in St.George! DREAMS COME TRUE!! SO SO SO SO excited!

Aaron at 3 months on the left and Miles at 2 months on the right.

My first pack meeting as the Assistant Cub Master. Wow, that is one crazy program! Jaylen was excited to come with me!

Sweet chubby baby.

Jaylen's second Santa letter after seeing the BB-8 droid at Bed Bath and Beyond. He is crazy over that droid!!!

My Saturday morning 10 mile run around the fields. I love the fields and mountains. Such a beautiful place we live!

Miles is a very loved little brother! The boys love playing with him, especially now that he can smile and coo at them.

Aaron is coaching Jaylen's 2nd grade basketball team. They lost 30 -4 their first game, so they have some work to do. Ha! They are a pretty rowdy group. This picture cracked me up because Jaylen was yawning throughout his half time speech.

We love going to Tuachan for their live Nativity. It's such a great performance with excellent music, REAL camels and donkeys and it always puts us in the right spirit of Christmas.

Cute chubby cheeks- 2 months!
Miles at his 2 month check up was 14 lbs 13 oz, and 22 inches long. 98% for weight! The doctor thought the nurse wrote his nurse wrote the weight down wrong at first and then after seeing him was impressed. Ha! Love our little chubby boy. He has an umbilical hernia which makes his belly button extra squishy- the boys love poking on it.
The boys were having fun with the kinetic sand we got last year for Christmas from Adam and Crystal. It was cute to see them all playing- Miles was even cooing and "playing" along.
A few stories from lately:

After eating lunch, Gavin says out of nowhere, "It's so fun being a kid."

We were talking about NYC after seeing pictures of Adam, Crystal, Merilee and Bryan's recent trip there. Jaylen was naming off all the things he remembered like Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, Rockefellar plaza and Gavin chimes in about a pretzel we got as the one thing he remembered the most. Oh that kid and food..

After Kelson's baptism we were going out to the car. Wondering where Gavin went, I look over and he's in front of the stake center, facing with road with his pants around his ankles peeing towards the road. Oh, that kid cracks us up!

Thanksgiving weekend

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving break. Thanksgiving morning Aaron went and played ball for a couple hours and then I went on a 12 mile run. After cleaning up, we headed over to the Spano's home for a meal with their cute family. Gavin and Noah, Jaylen and Sophie were happy to be playing together again! After a couple hours with them, we went over to Cam and Josie's home to have dinner with their family. Such delicious food, fun company and the kids loved playing with all their family.
At the Gentry's home.

The kid's table was adorable.

This casserole was TO DIE FOR. So I must record this recipe!

On my way to work, I couldn't help but to snap this picture of the beautiful sunrise!

We went to hike around Pioneer Park. The boys love finding hidden caves and exploring on the rocks.
I love setting up for Christmas. We put on Christmas music over Pandora, put on Snowberry scentsy and bring everything out. Such a magical time.

I found my elf costume from a race last year in the Christmas box and ended up wearing it all day. Ha!

Sorry Aaron, my blog- my memories. I about peed my pants from laughing this Sunday. The boys filled up their own bath using ALL the hot water. I barely had enough to have a somewhat tolerable shower. Which left Aaron with the only option of shaving in the bath tub after the boys. The water was filthy. Things floating around, gross colored. Poor guy. As he was shaving with my tiny makeup mirror, he said, "Trying to do the most manly thing in the most juvenile place??" Oh I laughed. Needless to say the boys will not be taking a bath before we shower for church again.

We had the Westhoff's over for family dinner. I love their sweet family! We had chili and ate fondue, which the kids LOVE!
Cute Ellie
Libby

Jaylen wanted to make pancakes for breakfast on Sunday. He did it all by himself with some verbal help from me while I was nursing Miles. I was pretty impressed. He was so proud of himself to deliver breakfast to the table. It was delicious! Messy yes, but his newly learned skill is priceless for him!
We went to the Washington City tree lighting. It was really magical to see all the lights come on! We got to see the Grinch which was a highlight for the boys.
Cute snuggly Miles' with a hat that my neighbor gave us.
We had such a great Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful and grateful for! So happy for good friends and family to spend time with this year!
