Thunderbird

Jaylen enjoying the floor after a T-birds basketball game.

Basketball with Daddy..

Fun with Grandma

Jaylen loves his Grandma Merilee! In fact, he's been fussy since she left. I think he misses all the love, snuggles and attention!

Worn out

Jaylen had so much fun at the park that on the way home he conked out and slept like this for over half an hour.

Jaylen's first haircut!

We love Jaylen's hair long and a little shaggy- but he was beginning to get a mullet- so I cut his hair while he slept on Aaron's shoulder. I was amazed that it actually turned out decent considering the conditions. He looks so much more like a little boy now, not my little infant!

More tram fun...

So beautiful!!!

Could I have cuter boys?

I'm sure every mother must feel this way... but I honestly think I have the cutest child ever. Who could resist those gorgeous brown eyes and adorable smile?!

World's Longest Tramway!

We went up on the Sandia Peak Tramway Sunday. It was amazing! The little cable car rose from sunny Albuquerque at 45 degrees- rose up through the mountains above a peak- on to the next highest peak. At the top is was very windy, ice on the trees (26 degrees), and to our surprise a ski resort and lifts were on the other side of the mountain! We enjoyed the view, ate some appetizers up on the restaurant at the top and enjoyed hanging out together!

Birthday pictures...

Daycare story

So today I picked up Jaylen from the gym's daycare after shadowing a couple of trainers, and the lady who works there tells me Jaylen loves and only plays with the fake food while he's in there. I just laughed out loud, not surprised. We sure do have a cute, precious, funny little boy!

More footage of Jaylen's "first" birthday

Jaylen wore a cute outfit Aaron and all the Edgley boy's wore when little. He grew a little tired of the birthday hat though!

Jaylen's "1st" Birthday

We were lucky to have Aaron's mom, Merilee, in town for the weekend before Jaylen's 1 year birthday! She got him an adorable basketball hoop (that Aaron also loves!) and it was fun to watch him discover how to throw the ball in the hoop. We went up on the Sandia Peak Tram (the world's longest tram apparently) and loved the amazing views we saw and discovered skiing on the other side of the mountain! (Only 2 miles from our house!!!) After we got home we all got in our birthday hats (not suits :)) and sang and watched Jaylen deal with his cake. He was hilarious with his cake- wasn't sure what to do with it and was careful- which is funny since he's pretty uncareful with about everything else he does (picking stuff up and throwing is his new hobby). It was so awesome that we got to spend this very special occasion in Jaylen and our lives with Merilee/Grandma! Jaylen sure is a lucky boy to have such a great, loving Grandma!
