Reminders

Jaylen is the cutest little thing. I periodically have reminders in my phone that go off, usually set to a duck quaking. I find these cute little messages in my phone from Jaylen:

I love that little boy with all my heart! Such an openly sweet little boy!

Hiking/Riding the tallest peak in southern Utah

We saddled up the horses and sent them off on a ride up the ridge to the tallest peak in southern Utah on Beaver Mountain. The rest of us drove over to a different trail to hike over to meet them. It was amazingly beautiful!!

Aaron was rather nervous, along with the boys. They rode Pablo, the most fiesty horse.

This was our crazy hiking group. How we did it with so many little kids, is amazing.

We found mountain goat hair laying around.

I hiked down the long way with the "big" kids to get the car and four-wheelers. Jaylen begged to come with us. He kept up the whole time and did a great job! He was so excited to be with the big kids group!

Christian wiped out. It was pretty funny. (No worries, he was fine)

Aaron came hiking off the quickest route with Gavin dead asleep. So cute.

Camping on Beaver Moutain

My brother has been doing this annual campout at Beaver Moutain for the last several years. His buddy from high school, Paul Topham, brings his family from northern Utah. After harassing my cousins Tyler and Leilani (who just moved to Maui), they came, my cousin Mitch came, Rach and her kids came, and Jared and his kids. A few work partners stopped in for a night. 

It was GORGEOUS. Aaron packed the kids bags and unfortunately didn't believe me when I said to pack warm clothes because it'd be cold up there. So Aaron and the boys didn't have coats or long shirts or pants. They boys usually wore my shirts at night and we cuddled real good. It was refreshing to have a break from the 100's.

 During the day we did archery, horse riding, BB gun shooting, hiking, four-wheeling, game playing, corn bag toss and ate. Oh, it was great.

 Gavin was so funny about the horses. He kept calling them cows. "Don't step in the cow poooop!"
